What is the best part of your job?
Working in communications means working at the heart of an organisation, bringing out the best of it and identifying and working to strengthen its weaknesses. It is a demanding but satisfying role and I think the variety and exposure to different teams and activities are the best part.
If you could give one piece of advice to yourself at the start of your career what would it be?
Be kind to yourself and also recognise that you can’t do it all on your own. The best results come from bringing together diverse talents.
What is an act of kindness that you will remember forever?
A million small acts of kindness from my husband, my family, friends and work colleagues which have helped me keep at it through the years even when times were tough.
What is your favourite quote?
'God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference.' Reinhold Niebuhr
If you could invite two people to dinner (dead or alive!) who would they be and why
I lost my father twenty years ago and I never met my father in law so it would be wonderful to have dinner with both of them. It would be a cracking evening!
