The first Women of the Future Asia Pacific Virtual Network Event sponsored by Rio Tinto, took place this month and it was one not to miss. Under the theme ‘Balance the Scales’, the UN Women official theme for International Women’s Day 2026, we brought together leaders, advocates and changemakers from across the globe for a real conversation on leadership, inclusion and what it means to create fairer outcomes in practice.
This session moved beyond awareness to look at how we challenge the structures that shape access, opportunity and voice.
The conversation covered leadership, resilience, representation and meaningful changes across business and society.
The response from attendees reflected the strength of the discussion, 63% of attendees rated the overall session 8/10 or higher, with attendees highlighting the honesty, practical insights and diversity of perspectives shared throughout the session.
