What is the best part of your job?
Creating. Seeing the spark of an idea/design/innovation right through to holding the end product in your hands or bumping into someone wearing it on the beach.
It’s never a straightforward process but actually creating something from scratch and bringing it to life gives me so much pleasure.
If you could give one piece of advice to yourself at the start of your career what would it be?
Invest time and effort into building genuine relationships with people, even if you can’t always see the immediate payback it will be worth it in the long run. You never know when you may want to call upon your network and the ability to rally people around you and get them working towards your cause is priceless.
What is one act of kindness that you will remember forever?
Every time someone more experienced and more successful than me gives up some of their time to give me advice or help. Time is precious and is worth so much more than money. When someone gives you their time for free, it’s a strong signal that they believe in you and want to be part of your journey.
What is your favourite quote?

If you could invite two people to dinner (dead or alive!) who would they be and why?
Richard Branson – he seems like great fun and someone who would give lots of advice and support (plus I’d pitch for Davy J to kit his staff at the Virgin Limited Edition Resorts!)
Anna Wintour – because I want to learn from and embody some of her fierce strength
